Pop-Up Cinema Kit

Our kit provides you with everything you need to host your own pop-up cinema, and can be used in a variety of indoor and outdoor locations. Details of our pop-up cinema kit can be found here, and you can contact us about hiring it for your event.

 

 

 

Projects & Events

Ffilm Cymru Wales has worked with a number of partners, including Cadw, BAFTA Cymru, and the Charter Housing Association, to deliver pop-up cinema screenings and filmmaking workshops at extraordinary locations across Wales.

 

Film in Afan

Our pioneering mobile cinema scheme put film at the heart of community regeneration, providing film screenings, training workshops and new employment opportunities across the Afan valley.

 

 

 

Charter Housing

We’re working with the Charter Housing Association to offer free family film screenings at local community venues for residents of the South Wales valleys.

 

 

 

Kaya Festival

The Cirque du Cinema tent at Swansea’s Kaya World Music and Arts Festival gave young people the opportunity to make their own animated films, as well watch some of the year’s biggest films for free.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sinemaes

Ffilm Cymru Wales partnered with BAFTA Cymru, Film Hub Wales, Into Film and more to showcase the best in Welsh-language film at the Eisteddfod’s first ever pop-up cinema.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cadw Castle Cinema

Welsh Government’s historic environment service and Ffilm Cymru Wales presented Disney’s blockbusting new vision of The Jungle Book at Anglesey’s stunning Beaumaris Castle.
