BFI NET.WORK Wales present their latest Launchpad event for filmmakers at the Hay Literature Festival

Richard Booth's Bookshop in picturesque Hay-on-Wye will host three days of talent labs for directors and writers, film finance meetings, workshops on book-to-film adaptations, talent surgeries, script readings and masterclasses. The event will also feature screenings of Lenny Abrahamson's new film Frank, starring Michael Fassbender, in the bookshop's beautiful boutique cinema.Ffilm Cymru Wales at the famous festival.

Iris Education Day 2016

On 12th October, Ffilm Cymru Wales attended Iris Outreach's Education Day at Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff. The Iris Film Prize has been described as “the queer U.N. of film making” by seminal LGBT film maker Cheryl Dunye. The education and outreach programme is a huge core part of Iris.

Singing star Paul Potts joins celebrations for Welsh film education project

OPERA star Paul Potts will join young filmmakers and community members to celebrate the Film in Afan project at a special event next week.
