Filmmakers vying for £30,000 are heading to Cardiff for 2015 Iris Prize festival

Filmmakers from Norway, The Netherlands, India, Australia, Israel, Ireland, Denmark, Germany, UK and The USA on their way to Cardiff vying for £30,000 Iris Prize supported by The Michael Bishop Foundation.

Zoom International Youth Film Festival to award Welsh talent. Applications open today

Zoom Cymru has announced that the tenth anniversary edition of the Zoom International Youth Film Festival will take place in Wales between 14 - 18 March 2016. The week-long event celebrates the magic of TV and film with exclusive screenings of international films, alongside media masterclasses which explore the skills involved in front of the cameras and behind the scenes. The festival also hosts the ZYFAs (Zoom Young Filmmaker Awards) on the final night, Friday 18 March 2016, at Bridgend College's Sony Theatre, and entries are now open for young filmmakers across Wales, the UK and internationally to submit their short films to compete in sixteen categories.
