The National Lottery invites you to see a film for free at participating cinemas across the UK this August.

Did you know that every time you play the National Lottery you’re supporting British film, as well as giving amazing training and development opportunities for the next generation of British filmmakers?

To say thank you, The National Lottery invites you to see a film for free at participating cinemas across the UK on Sunday 25th August 2019. All you need is your Lotto ticket purchased online or in store for the Lotto Double Prize Event draw on 24th August draw to get a free adult cinema ticket on National Lottery Cinema Day, with over 500,000 tickets up for grabs we hope you’ll join us to celebrate at your local cinema. 2019 also marks The National Lottery’s 25th birthday. Since The National Lottery’s first draw took place on 19th November 1994, more than £40 billion has been raised for good causes in the areas of arts, sport, heritage and community. The 25th birthday is a moment to celebrate the extraordinary impact The National Lottery has had on the UK, and to say thank you to National Lottery players for contributing around £30 million to good causes every week.
